Post-registration Certificate Course (PRCC) in Emergency Nursing 2014 – 2015
There are 39 emergency nurses joining the Post-registration Certificate Course (PRCC) in Emergency Nursing this year.
It is the largest ENC class ever in the history!
Apart from learning advanced emergency nursing care, we also get to know more about our “partners” in care delivery. It’s valuable to get the chance to attach to ambulance service, visit the Government Flying Service (GFS) and Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) facilities in the Shatin Fire Station.
One of the traditional challenges in ENC was working on a group project in the emergency setting. Some of our groups conducted researches and some of us worked on quality improvement projects. It was a fruitful experience as each of our group got to know more and came across boundaries between different emergency departments.
Time goes by silently, we finished our class and group project presentation in May. As we are all going to be qualified as specialty nurses, we are all prepared to work together for better emergency nursing in the future!
